Grants

The funding opportunity that is most aligned with the mission of the Maryland Museums Association is the Museum Assistance Program grants administered by the Maryland Historical Trust. Specifically, through the MAP grants, MHT offers funding to support Maryland museums and institutional collections. As MHT states, "The program helps historical and cultural museums strengthen operations, build professional capacity, and improve long-term sustainability." MMA advocates on behalf of all Maryland museums to retain, improve, and increase MAP funding.
