Maryland Oral History Training & Toolkit (2026)
Maryland Museums Association, Inc. applied for and was awarded a competitive Inclusive History Grant from the Maryland 250 Commission for an Oral History Training and Toolkit for all Marylanders interested in oral history.
Francesco De Salvatore was selected as the expert consultant and has been working closely with MMA and its partners in the project, including but not limited to the Maryland State Archives and Digital Maryland.
FREE WORKSHOP
This virtual training will provide an overview of oral history methods, and access to the new free toolkit for creating an oral history project/program.
The workshop is designed to be engaging to everyone interested in oral history work with a focus on project planning, ethics and privacy, and digital access.
